I was looking down the bell of my trumpet. I was holding a pen. I droped the pen and now it is stuck. Is it possible to get it out myself?

If it makes a decent enough seal inside of the pipe then you could just blow it out. If not then take a spider cleaner and take out your first valve and first valve bottom cap and stick it in the bottom hole and run it through.

You can pretty much get to every nook and cranny with a snake cleaner.

    Good Luck!

i think you can fill your trumpet with water (like, when you wash your trumpet) and blow it.

Wow... all I can say is... Wow....

A snake cleaner should have no problem pushing it back out... just be gentle and take your time.

Mike, how do you get the snake moving from valve block towards the bell?

Take the horn to a reputable repair shop.

Pay him $15 - $40 to remove it.

Keep the repair bill in your case.

Look at it whenever you open your case.
