If you're trying to last in bed, stop playing the trumpet when you are Hard... Physiology 101... You gotta concentrate on the main event, boy.... I Say, I Say... concentrate on the main event.

Sleep is often one of our greatest allies in developing endurance. Try sleeping more in bed and practicing more in rooms with better acoustics and you won't need such ridiculous thread names to get people reading your posts.

having a good relationship with your significant other ---- and also having an ongoing WORKING relationship with your "mistress", IE. YOUR TRUMPET -- will probably help with your endurance.

Couple of things, practice, of course, but practice standing up and when you're good at that, practice walking around like a march. It's harder than it looks, but builds endurance like crazy.

If you can play while marching, you can play anywhere!

LONG TONES!!!!!!!!! I know, too obvious. Try a pvc hose, 10 ft. long and blow on it while you drive (insert mpc first!). Works great for me.

cool, but I'm sucking wind at the end (ok, I'm nearly 48) so maybe it's a good thing that I'm still able to make it to the end and be sucking wind ((oh, Yeah, for some silly reason -- I put the trumpet down, and bump it up to the trombone in parades)) --- the trumpet is much easier for me!!!!!

HEY, OP -- that reminds me -- try doubling on a bigger instrument (like even a flugle, or if you want a Trombone, or Baritone -- I'm betting inside of 4 months, you will find that that helps the trumpet for endurance) --- well, I think it does -- TREMENDOUSLY
