A thousand big ones for a project horn! Somebody makes a lot more than I do.

Yes, the final sale is for $1,000; but when I clicked on the link to follow up, I saw a real nice one for a starting bid of $2,799 that looked like it was in EXCELLENT condition. Turtle Jimmy, thought I heard it calling out... Turtle, Turtle, click me... Buy it now for $3,100.... Please Turtle, buy me now...

Gary, I bet ya a hundred bucks that I could play that Committee " as is " and still sound better than a new Yamaha. The hard part would be keeping my finger over the crack in the leadpipe.

Take the bet. Use my Yamaha and you are $100 richer. There is no way that he could do that.

Did anyone on here get the Committee??

Why would I bet against something that I know I would loose.

Oh, I get it, you will send the $100 you win to Turtle as a gift to help make up the difference between the current bid on that Committee I mentioned in my post above AND the "buy it now" price.

Cody, read my post above this one. Too bad Randy Brecker did not use a Martin Committee (instead of his Yamaha) on his Grammy nomination this year, he would be sure to win, and that would have been a bet I would have made.
