And if you are Kingtrumpet, air inhaled just before speaking can be the most dangerous!
Just imagine if you could shoot slides with your own breath -now that would be something
Not so sure about that. You'd have one heck of a time with intonation problems.
Maybe not. If one has "Superman" breath, "Superman" hearing and control would probably be present as well.
Been there, done that. Eastman 420g when you forget to screw the little slide stop screw in ...... the 3rd slide can go flying! I think I achieved a 7 foot distance once.
Good thing my practice room is carpeted.
Maybe so, but the rest of us meer mortals would not appreciate this.
Didn't you do that to your Ambassador too? Maybe YOU have Superman breath!
OK, now you got me thinking this should be an Olympic event. What a great way to get trumpet players involved in competitive sports!
No, I tripped on something and the Ambassador went flying ....... And anyone could achieve liftoff of the 3rd slide on my Eastman under those conditions. I'm thinking of starting a band of trumpets (that can do this) and calling ourselves "Don't Sit In The Front Row."
But are you able to get it over the wall?
