is "open" in high student trumpet thatnotes?

    If you can get your hands on one at the price range you've listed, I think the Kanstul-built "Besson International" is a really nice, "open" horn with great intonation, good valves and a non-stuffy range from top to bottom. They're out of production now but there are usually a few floating around on Ebay.

    Since I already have a Getzen 300, maybe I already have the best I can get for the little money I have.
    Except I 'll have to invest in some more wire to wrap around it to hold it together :^)

    I've never even heard of it and will check it out.
