    Dear Friends,
    I am delighted to announce that the 12th edition of "Italian Brass Week" will be taking place once again in Santa Fiora, Tuscany from the 14th to the 21st August.
    This event is considered by critics,musicians and international press as one of the most prestigious brass festivals in the world.

    Teachers of international status will hold masterclasses, culminating in evening concerts.
    Amongst others, members and teachers from the Berlin Philarmonic,Vienna Philarmonic,San Francisco Symphony,Teatro la Scala Milan,Santa Cecilia Rome,Maggio Musicale Fiorentino,Maastricht Conservatorium and the Opera theatre of Rome.

    Visiting international soloists will include Ian Bousfield Sarah Willis, Andrea Tofanelli, Davide Simoncini, Giancarlo Parodi, Mayk Inouey, Andrea Dell'Ira, Luca Benucci, Will Sanders,all of which will perform throughout the week.

    Santa Fiora is a pretty little town in south Tuscany nestled high at 700m on mount Amiata....An ideal location for a summer brass festival its position boasts idyllic surroundings,wonderful climate and excellent local food and wine, a perfect combination for musical inspiration!
