    Hey everyone,

I hadn't seen very much about ITG on here, and considering I'm helping out with the planning and the running of ITG to make everything run smoothly, I figure a little PR on TrumpetMaster couldnt hurt!

Just so everybody knows, registration is now open. Online registration can be found on the ITG website... the link is on the side of the page.

    Hi Ryan,

Just to encourage this thread, there are many wonderful friends and colleagues on this list. None delight me more to see than Ahn Hee Chan.

Hee Chan did his Masters degree with me at the Rotterdam Conservatory some years back and he's a wonderful player and person. . . perhaps the first Korean trumpeter to really make it on an international level. Those of you who plan to attend are in for a treat -- trust me.

    Cheers,
    EC

    Thats interesting,

one of my professors at school, Michael Harcrow (horn player) is a friend of his... was in one of the major orchestras in Korea a while back with him. He has nothing but good things to say about Hee Chan... just makes me more excited to hear him!

    Ryan,

Yes, Hee Chan was/is principal trumpet of the KBS (Korean Broadcasting -- Myung Whun Chung, conductor ) orchestra. It's Korea's best.

    Cheers,
    EC

I'm looking forward to it! I'll definitely be there and I think I might be playing a bit. I need to double check with Rebecca about that. It really looks like a great conference!

    See you there,
    Annie

I'll be there---our trumpet ensemble is also performing, though it seems we haven't been added to the official list yet...looks like a lot of us could finally meet! Funny you mention Michael Harcrow, he was an adjunct horn professor at Midwestern State Univ for a bit-that's where I got my Bachelors degree.

    I'm looking forward to it!

A couple of us are already registered and looking forward to attending. We got a mini-suite and were thinking of using it one night for a "Hoosier (IU) Hospitality Room".
