    No, it's not at all a proper trumpet, but it is trumpet-related and pretty amusing. I have no connection to the makers, either.

    I just bought the "iTrump" application for the iPhone/iPad Touch. No mouthpiece, though that would be fun, but an interface that's almost like a trumpet with valves. Well, a four-valve trumpet, because you have to touch something to play open as well.

    It may be useful for explaining how valves work to people just figuring that out, and it's fun to have in your pocket anyway. My favorite bit is the 3rd valve slide moving when you play a low D. It definitely sounds better than any trumpet I've found for $2.99, but that's not exactly difficult!
