I'm very excited!!! Like a kid on Christmas morning. My new Stage 1 Vintage Bb came. I'm having fun getting to know it. We're getting aquainted nicely. LOL I've played a Bach Strad for so long that it's strange hearing something else. I'm experimenting with valve caps and tuning slides. It really blows free. Things that were a bit of a struggle on my Strad are sailing out on the Vintage. I can't wait to test it on a gig. Anyone got one for me?:D

I've got a gig for you. My music room this weekend. Bring the new horn. Or just send it if "you" can't make it.

    Vulgano,
As soon as I learn how to post the pictures they'll be up.
Hey Cotton, what does the gig pay?

How about a sprectrographic analysis of the brass, too?

It wouldn't be the first time I played for food and liquor.
I'll be lucky if I can post the pictures Robin, I don't know about sound clips, but I'll try. Fortunately my daughter is home on spring break this week to help me with the computer stuff! And as far as the spectographic analysis Vulgano I'll just borrow from Dr. McCoy and say, "I'm a trumpet player, not a scientist."
Seriously, I am finding that the Vintage is easier to play than my Bach. It slots well and the intonation is improved in the upper register.

I wanted to get an NYTC horn, but my parents won't let me order off the Internet, so I'll just get a Strad. But good luck with that Vintage!
