truly, a nice video.
good, I am on track on the teetotal --- after many years of Not imbibing for various health and civility issues -- I still can't play quite that well ---
There is a video somewhere of Fodens Brass Band, where Glyn Williams starts off playing a solo on Euphonium, and then takes all the other instruments, one at a time, and plays them all. He finishes the solo on a kitchen sink!
hey Kujo, thanks for posting this. i've never heard of james morrison. i enjoyed the video you sent and have been listening to more of his music on grooveshark - very cool. i really like him. i think that i'll pick up a couple of his releases.
thanks for opening me up to a new musician.
No problem man! He's got some really great stuff out there. Enjoy!
Freak of nature!
Did you notice that none of the band guys could play in the style of the lead guy? Apparently they had no respect for him.
But would it encourage you to buy a Schagerl ?
I haven't heard of their horns before. At the least, it brought some name recognition to me. Also, after looking up morrison's site, i'm casually interested in their bass trumpet ... although, i'm not sure that i'd know what to do with it.
Ever since I discovered Schagerl, I've wanted to try their instruments. They seem to be great quality instruments, and they sure are unique! I'd love to try their entire line of trumpets, cornets and flugelhorns. I wouldn't mind giving that bass trumpet a whirl too...
