You proved your point with your own statement. You, being the American, used poor grammar. Just saying. I agree and appreciate the appreciate the level of grammar used by Canadians, Australians, almost any of the English speaking countries over the poor habits of the Americans.
I do love my country, don't get me wrong.
Can I just say not all Englishmen sound like Hugh Grant! I get asked if I'm Australian when I'm in the US. I get my own back though, by replying "You Canadians often make that mistake".
So we can always keep the Brits guessing... Must of worked... After they blinked twice... we had our own country that we pulled from them... right under their noses...
Of course, when we had our heads turned, the Chinese bought it.
Wow... not cool. I would advise you just walk away when someone pays you a complement.

I think we just streamlined them to make them more efficient:
color, flavor, labor, not colour, flavour, labour
let me apologize for the peeps on TM, they are befuddled with the language of language, they shore nuff, didn't anwer yourz question.
