I found some awsome pictures somewhere, but where can I actually get one? I haven't found them for sale anywhere.

There was a company named "Imperial" that used to advertise in the International Musician (the musicians union's newsletter) that used to make one of those. However, I haven't seen one of their ads in quite a while.

Depending on what you want it for, quality sound or fun horn, could you perhaps purchase a cheaper trumpet, and source a clever brass repairer? I'm in Australia, we have a couple of guys here that think could mod a standard trumpet to this shape.

I just won one in an auction on e-bay. From what I understand, Keilworth manufactured the single bell version in the 80s. There were only 100 made(according to research I've done) and on occasion, one comes up for auction. I was just lucky. Although it was in great working condition, I'm still having it custom refinished.

I imagine this wouldn't be too difficult with a cheap herald trumpet....may not look exactly the same but if the point is to look like a sax it doesn't matter that it looks different from other trump-ophones.
