I remember, several months ago, some of us complained that, when they played a few particular notes on the trumpet, their dogs started barking or howling.
Moreover, opera soprano singers have the reputation of being able to blow up crystal glasses by means of some selected notes …
Yesterday afternoon, I was playing, my window wide open, in front of the building’s car park. And I noticed that one of the cars’ alarm siren started wailing each time I played a low Eb (and only this particular note)!
Does anyone have such odd situations to tell ?

my dogs have a fit when i play anything below the low c, especially pedal tones. and anything above the high a gets them barking.

Haha I know if I roll a hand truck across the train tracks on Sunnyvale Avenue in Sunnyvale, California, the signal shuts the street down!

I wonder if a pedal tone would set it off?
