So, the evil fairy Viola has banished you to a desert island. However, the good fairy Trompetta has at least ensured that you have electricity and a cd player. She also does a deal and you are allowed ONE album of trumpet music. ONLY ONE. But no trumpet :-(

So, the question is, which ONE album do you take.

(and if anyone puts down two they won't win the prize (what prize? dunno!)).

As it is ONE ALBUM of trumpet music it would have to be Alison Balsom then it would serve two purposes. (Work it out)

However as there is no limit on other types of Album..................Glenn Miller Orchestra, A Night at the Opera, Carmen, La Boheme, The Shadows, Grimethorpe, Black Dyke, Brighouse and Rastrick, Yorkshire Imps, Farey Works.....Need I go on

I would certainly go for the "History of Jazz" album - it's a compilation of 21 CDs!

I would borrow one of Ed Lee's most powerful firearms and blow the evil fairy to kingdom come!!!!! If I could take a 64 gig iPod, I might have a change of heart, but probably not! :D

I wouldn't take any. Soon get bored with just one, so none would be better. Come to think about it I don't own any trumpet CD's anyway.
