K-Modified Selmer Paris Bb 1954-59

    Hi Trumpet Master friends:

    I have acquired as above, a K-Modified Selmer Paris Bb trumpet with a first valve trigger #21255. I can't seem to find a bore number on it. It appears to be a medium bore. This horn is very free blowing with a good upper register. My question is why is this horn called K-modified. thank you very much for your help in answering this question, Lee

    To find the bore number, look on the underside of the receiver. There should be a number there. The numbers ranged from 19 (small bore) to 25 (large bore). I have had several and the sound is very warm. Great horns
