Answer: Because when you play them together, as I have done at trumpet hangs I have been to, the Kanstul's butter sound wins me over hand (and 4 fingers) down. Get ye to a trumpet hang and sample the goods. You will walk away knowing what the right choice is for you.
You're correct, G... and it's precisely why I play a Taylor Phat Boy.
what horn is this ??? looks like a Picasso Design.....
how much €€€€ ???
what I have clear:
I am tired of my old very heavy, large bore Getzen Eterna 4-valves
(I play it with a Bach 3cfl mpc)
I want something "light" , 3 valves, very small bore ....
thanks a lot for the advices !!!
I have also to find out, where I can try this horns (there is nothing but sweet wine in Málaga-Spain)
wouw, there are some crazy looking flugels, what a pleasure .....
but they look also more expensive (I have about 3300 €uros)
I am using (for the moment) a Bach 3CFL mouthpiece, does this fit in all this horns ???
and the "biggest" cuestion : travelling from Málaga , ¿where is a shop with all this horns in stock? (in Spain imposible, I think)
¿ what are the prices for Monette , Taylor , etc.)
probably only Kanstul is in my price-range !!
I love the looking of the Schilke, but everybody says it sounds very bright...
Taylor your looking 5K in raw brass
Monette you looking getting a 2nd job, then a 3rd.
Isn't that the horn that does the diesel engine impression when you use the valves. Can't find the video, but when Wynton does runs with it, it sounds like the diesel engine in my truck!
Isn't that a Gar Ginker from Dr. Suess??
Didn't have the right moutpiece did ya?
