I am reading alot of good things about the Kanstul ... I see the 1500 going for around $1,200 .. if that plays as good as a Bach Strad it seems like an great deal ... is this model Kanstul a pro level horn..
and yes I know if you like it what does it matter ... and play it before you buy.. got all that... I am just trying to learn where all these models sit in the trumpet food chain ... as in am I going to see a Kanstul 1500 in the LA Phil ..
    any thoughts are welcome..

This is great Kanstul model, big sound, very versatile. The 1501 is actually my favorite for its versatility, but the 1500B is smokin'. There's no reason you shouldn't see Zig's horns in major orchestras, and as far as I know, there may be many already. Bach and Yamaha got a multi-decade headstart in name recognition, but once you mine your sound on one of their finer pieces of brass, you will wonder no longer.

Used they go for 1200-1500 ... that I have seen
1500B ..more versitile.. brighter or darker? I definitely do not want a horn the sizzles too much .... or one that tells me anything above a high C is not in it's job description
    thanks guys..
