    If you use the "advanced search" function on Ebay, you can view sales that have concluded including which ones actually sold and for what price. This will give the most accurate indication of what the market actually is for the item, as opposed to what someone is "asking" or trying to sell their item for........

    Thanks for taking a look.
    Yes I am convinced that finding it a home where it is appreciated will be best. I have held on to it this long for pure sentimental reasons. When I was a young man, my parents purchased the horn new for me ( something they really couldn't afford) Life has its twist and turns and long story short , I haven't played in 40 years. It is time that the horn gets the respect that it deserves.

    Ha! Hard to argue with that but I am afraid my trumpet playing days are behind me. :)

    if I had the coin I would buy that horn in a heartbeat, you sure took good care of your horn. most kids beat their horns up.
