    Greetings,
I've had in my possession for some time, a Los Angeles Benge M trumpet (#29995). I have not seen a Benge 'medium" trumpet before and was questioning whether this horn was specifically crafted. It's in excellent condition! I'm nearing retirement and am trying to find the value of this horn. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.

years ago I had a Chicago Benge Med., it played very well and as I understand it a med. bore Chicago was common. of course I could be wrong.

    Dave,

Thank you for the information on the Benge Medium trumpet. I guess they are somewhat rare.
In Chicago, do you remember a horn player by the name of "Porky" Panico? First call!
A friend, Paul Gallis, made me a taped copy of his playing some years ago. For your
trouble in answering my question, if you desire, I'll forward a copy of same.
    Let me know.
