Has anyone ever tried Bach polish gloves for laquer? I have heard not to use anything on laquer, but a friend of mine swears by these for keeping his lacquer trumpets shining and corosion free.

Lemon pledge or windex works well, too. For a lot of fingerprints, plain water on a soft flannel cloth works fine.

I've never tried the Bach polish gloves for lacquer -- I see no need to make the Steinway company any richer buying unnecessary accessories.
