Learning Minor Scales

    Great wisdom guys! I'll be focusing on the dorian minors. Sound like the biggest bang for the buck when it comes to time. :thumbsup:

    The most common chord sequence in jazz is IIm7 V7 IM7. In C this would be D min G7 Cmaj7.

    If you just use the Dom (G7). during this progression, you'll be fine. Charlie Parker did it all the time. Why does it work? it should have the same notes as the ii and the I
