Just got my SB7-7 that I bought through Ebay. I love it. I got the older version because it has more inputs, reverb choices, and volume controls. I've been playing a little funk in my studio while the wifey is asleep. Way cool. I wouldn't want to practice with it all the time, but for this situation, it is great.

Judging by your list of equipment, looks like keeping the wifey purring is indeed a good idea...

I played about 30 minutes of stuff after my wife went to sleep. I asked her this morning and she said she didn't hear a thing. :)

I got the same thing. This model id preferred over the newer model. More capabilities with ability to play duets and connect with external devices to play along.

I like mine a great deal too. It lets me practice at night.

+1 +1 On all of that. I also play some stuff I have on my itunes inputting into the auxiliary port and adjust the sound and play along. Same thing, though, I'd rather not use it, but it's better than disturbing people at times.........

Talk about serin-dippity-do-da... I got my SB7-7 THE EXACT SAME DAY. I even used the mp3 insertion and was playing my muted trumpet against my flugelhorn parts. Heard Eddie Henderson do this on the Spirit Dance CD for the song Cook's Bay. It sounds so cool. Give a whole new dimension to practicing.

You could even put an Eddie Brookshire cd in and play along with it!!!!!
