I met a guy who built a computer controlled router, and wants to try to automatically carve cornetto's. I think the only sticking point, is what to use as a standard mouthpiece receiver. Any suggestions?

Standards, for a cornetto? Good luck. But for what it's worth, my Moeck has a simple cork insert, drilled and reamed to accept the mouthpiece (shank size appears to be the same as a French horn mouthpiece, although the combination doesn't really work in any aspect other than being able to insert the mouthpiece). Standard cornet or trumpet mouthpieces aren't what a cornetto requires.

The Moeck mouthpiece shank has no taper that I can see.

Tell him I'll buy one if he's successful!
