I think it was a joke.
It was a very good joke. LOL
Here we go again.............
Just accept the fact that there are trumpets that not everyone is able to appreciate like me.
Just like a Yugo, Trabant, Pinto, the cheapest beer or anything else intended for the tasteless,
the price is not the issue.
I can personally attest to the fact that the Monique instruments offer something "different".
I might go so far as to say a Monique may be considered a totally unique instrument that
produces a sound that no other trumpet is possible of creating.
Discussions why the "uninformed" don't understand how something could be so tasteless and appreciated by someone of
my considerable humility don't prove a thing.
They have been building 6000 instruments per day for over 2.5 years, yet there are only a handful to be found on eBay.
I think that speaks volumes to their character as well as the people like me that play them.
Pfff. Forget 'em all! I heard that Leonard Phlergeson played a Monique or two in his later years! : )
Yes, I think there are some videos somewhere on the Monique website of Leonard playing a duet with Dale Monique's cat!
Just for clarification, I meant Leonard and the cat were both playing a trumpet, not that Leonard was playing notes with Dale's cat.
I know some of you non-Monique players need things like this explained since you obviously are "idiotic," 'ignorant," and well, you know,
not Monique players from the Hinterland.
Welcome to MT, kuwoR ! Are you a friend of Lunar Bell ?
Nah..... I think this is Rowuk's wife who tries to get him to sell his Monette so she can go bananas in the shopping center...
Hem… Just a question : where is Hinterland located ? In Australia ?
