Is such what has been the cause of the big winds hitting the US Western coast?

I truthfully am remiss in Latin music in my repertoire, but will do my best to amend this in 2012. Certainly, Dizzy did very well picking up the Cuban sound and rhythms. Unfortunately, I can't travel there as Dizzy did.

There are more lead jobs in LA than elsewhere?

Perhaps on a straight count more than elsewhere in U.S., but not on a ratio per capita. Too, the cost of living factor is more than elsewhere. Where I am, my ratio is 1:700 and I play lead all the time whereas I play all by myself ... but I enjoy it. Too, now all my housing costs are ulilities and property taxes, an advantage of advanced age when mortages are paid off.
