Mouthpiece buzzing - how important is it?

    Must have been a mis-read on your part Ed... He said RAY OF POWER, not RAY OF POOTEN. Need to clean off them glasses Ed!

    I prefer spending some practice time with a high-resistance practice mute for that controlled tension thingy, or practice double tonguing with my mouth closed, holding the face muscles in place. As for ruling the Trumpet World, I agree with the Buddha:

    "I consider the positions of kings and rulers as that of dust motes. I observe treasures of gold and gems as so many bricks and pebbles. I look upon the finest silken robes as tattered rags.     I do like Jennifer Aniston, though....
