Even though it seems that I'm playing with the mouthpiece evenly between my top lip and bottom lip, I find the mouthpiece mark in the middle (pink) of my top lip . I even look in the mirror when I'm playing, and the mouthpiece looks centered. What's going on?

we roll the lips in some times. That means what you see is not always what you get.

Also possible the mark is from your lip where it protrudes INTO the mouthpiece and not from the rim itself.
