Yeah, simple logic... Dont forget gold, that makes it a lot better too. And if they make a prana variation, then you just gotta switch!!!!

Tell you what, send me any one of your mouthpieces. I will copy it, and sell it back to you for $200. I will sell it to Gary too, he is a great trumpeter. ROFL

A few members here have posted they were given mpc's from Maynard Ferguson, Bill Chase, and Doc Severinsen to name the ones I remember seeing. I just feel bad for youngsters now a days.

My first mpc prototype cost me about $5000 between the CAD software, classes, training, tooling, working with the machine shop, travel, etc. This doesn't factor in the 6 months of work before the first piece was even made.

Now I'm looking at buying my first real CNC. The price of a nice BMW. Fun. That's not even factoring labor costs, raw materials, tooling, plating, etc.

I'd like to believe folks are getting what they pay for in my stuff.

I'm not upset but I do want people to know a bit more about what justifies my pricing. It's not because I want to make a ton of money or rip off people. Far from it.

When you consider the cost of a professional trumpet at $2500-3500.00, I would expect a professional mouthpiece to cost between $150.00-300.00.

Maybe you can explain this to me, what is a professional mouthpiece? I have never heard of one before. And some pro trumpets can go $16,000+
