The second book is a direct extension of the first. I like like the first book I play it all just about every day as I is great to develop sound, my aim with this book is to play every study as musically and as perfectly as I can. I am aiming for a 1take recording quality when I play these.

I also use the Getchall, for practicing transposition into other keys.

any number of the "fake books" in c have the range you are looking for. You really can't play with anyone else unless one of you can transpose on the fly but for playing in the middle to low range they are good and have lots of songs and choices. You have cords and can do whatever else you have the talent or experience to play with.

Vizzutti's method book has a section entitled "low etudes". I believe it's in book #3.

Coincidentally, I've just bought this. The low etudes are very low, but plenty of the other etudes in there are in a nice range too.
