    Hey guys,
I play trumpet and sousaphone in a brass/hip-hop/rock band called My Son the Hurricane.
We just released our third music video.
It is a cover of Metallica's "For Whom the Bell Tolls"
I realise most of you may not enjoy metal music, but the band does have 3 trumpets (and 2 bones and 3 saxes) which I think you can appreciate.
We have one album out so far. This song isn't on it, and all of our originals are much less aggressive, but this cover song gets crowds going when we play shows.

    Here is the video
My Son the Hurricane - For Whom the Bell Tolls (Brass Metallica Cover) - YouTube

and here is a link to our website where you can find an iTunes link to our cd as well as our other videos.

    Enjoy

I wasnt expecting much, brass and metal doesn't mix. But I liked it, I found it a little repetitive, but overall I would still give it a superior. Keep it up and maybe you can quit your day job!

Ahh, if I am not mistaken, brass IS a metal alloy. It should AND DOES mix just fine. Nice JOB Brekelefuw so DON'T quit!

One of my sons is drummer in a metal band.
And here is his verdict: the drummer is excellent, the end is also very pleasant.
A great compliment from him, I certify!

I like it a lot! Love new ways to incorporate horns into other types of music.

Sounds great! Heavy "metal" at its best...;-) My first impression (before the vocals began) was of very early Chicago Transit Authority, before they lost their edge.

I may be biased but the brass section is the start of this show.....
