I'm not a hige fan of ice cream. Well, I've had my share (especially this summer), but lately I've been trying to watch the hourglass figure, if you know what I mean. Today was the last day that the Dairy Queen by my house (38th and 13th) was open before it closed for the winter. I went on the website to see what time it was open and fortunately had plenty of time. I get there 45 minutes before closingtime only to find the place closed!!! CLOSED I tell you!!! There was a guy cleaning up, and after knocking on the window several times, I was informed that they were out of ice cream. OUT OF ICE CREAM!?!?! It's a friggin Dairy Queen! How are you out of ice cream?! [email protected]!$#!!!
The one time I decide to go out and get ice cream...

Adeles Custard in excelsior, Jimi, I'm tellin' ya.

Get on 394 west to 494 south. Head south to 7 west (Excelsior Blvd). The best half hour on the road you'll ever spend and I don't think they close for the winter. This place was written up in the Times, it's that good.
