Lord of the (third valve slide) rings?
Oh... You are Soooo infected!
My plan is even when I part, I am not parting... My wife has instructions to take my ashes and place them in the bell of my Olds Recording... AND YOU worry about Red Rot?
But I still play my student horn... when I'm around students. I think it makes a nice point and sets a good example.
I view most all horns as temporary ownership. If you play a horn enough it's "cost per play" goes down.
Also having a few horns (a few...HA!) help limit wear on the prized horns.
At some point, they go to someone else....only a matter of time.
All you SR fellas out there, please give your families/next of kin my contact info, so when they are selling off your stuff they will have a place for "all his damn trumpets"
My geek hormones keep trying to convince my brain that I need one of these because it would be an excuse to go to Renaissance fairs dressed as a royal herald...
SILVER TRUMPET - TEMPLE TRUMPET - SILVER TRUMPETS - GOSPEL TRUMPET - BIBLE TRUMPET
...but my brain says not till I have paid down my charge bill from my 'real' trumpet. And maybe not then.
N+1 cured? now why on earth would anyone want that?
I'm making a lamp out of one of these Olds Recording things. Spent most of yesterday drilling it out to make way for the cord.
Those would make great lamps...don't need to drill them out like Olds Recordings.
that comment is having the same effect on me as the sound of a dentist drill
