N+1 satisfied?

    My plan is even when I part, I am not parting... My wife has instructions to take my ashes and place them in the bell of my Olds Recording... AND YOU worry about Red Rot?

    But I still play my student horn... when I'm around students. I think it makes a nice point and sets a good example.

    I view most all horns as temporary ownership. If you play a horn enough it's "cost per play" goes down.
    Also having a few horns (a few...HA!) help limit wear on the prized horns.
    At some point, they go to someone else....only a matter of time.

    All you SR fellas out there, please give your families/next of kin my contact info, so when they are selling off your stuff they will have a place for "all his damn trumpets"

    I'm making a lamp out of one of these Olds Recording things. Spent most of yesterday drilling it out to make way for the cord.

    Those would make great lamps...don't need to drill them out like Olds Recordings.
