This is my first post so I hope I'm in the right place. I am visiting Nashville, TN for a couple of days and I was wondering if anyone knows of any music stores that have a good selection of trumpets. Thanks John

Roy Lawler's new place is less than an hour from Nashville - East on 24 then South at Murfreesboro to Shelbyville.

It's well worth the drive, and Roy is the nicest guy you'll ever meet.

Blackburn is a little bit below Crossville, probably only about 2 hours from Nashville. I'm in Cookeville with no music store except for a guitar store >.<

I found a nice horn in a pawn shop down on Broadway a number of years ago - it never hurts to hit those in a place like Nashville.

When will you be in Nashville? I live in Clarksville, about 35 minutes north of Nashville. i don't have any horns for sale, but you could come by and check out my Eclipse just to blow one.

um well good luck, I mean other than lawyer and blackburn its pretty slim picking for the music city capitol of the US. I live about 30 min south of nashville in murfreesboro, and Ill say middle tenessee has good music and all but the music shops suck. Theres really no selection ther than the Strad and the B&S which arnt bad its just thats what people generally carry, other than a bach 3C. So have fun lookin for anything else.
