    Hey guys,

Was issued a kanstul g soprano bugle in June and i had a care question:

It's regarding the (what i would call) lower rear "quick" tuning slide. It's a left thumb controlled spring loaded tuning slide. Should this be lubricated with tuning slide grease or slide oil, akin to a trombone?

With standard slide grease it's too stiff to actuate it freely, causing a distortion by abnormal pressure on my emboucher (sp?). With valve/slide oil I don't want to run the risk of damaging it cause it just doesn't feel "right". Then again I never fooled around with a trombone...

    Any ideas?

Kanstul Music (model ksb100 to be specific)
