Ok, Harry James recorded a version of "It's Been a Long, Long Time", I think with Helen Forrest. Can anybody tell me of a transcribed copy of this solo. I've looked a lot of places and can't seem to find it.

Oh, you're an Aggie - no wonder you might find this difficult.

When transcribing, I use the Amazing SlowDowner software. I can't do it without it :-) In the beginning I could use four hours on two bars, but it's getting easyer and easyer. If you do one James solo, you will find a lot of the same in the next James solo etc...
It is fun to transcribe..:-) But, I know, this was not what you asked about! But I'll take a look at the solo! If you have a mp3, send it to [email protected]
