The tuba BBM mentioned definitely takes the cake though. I literally gagged while reading his post!ROFLROFLROFLROFL

You can stuff a lot inside a tuba ...

The paint at the top of the tuning bit is also disolving. At least it's more eco-friendly, it must be water-based.

Sorry for the delay, I didn't notice your post before, didn't have my glasses.
Here you go :bravo:, it's not the biggest trophy, but I'm an easy target, English is not my 1st language (for some effects, not even the 2nd).

RE: WHITE GLOVES - It looks pretty impressive to your audience to see your white glove in the spotlight. Only glove the hand holding the trumpet! (No need to encumber fingers while playing.) Implies you care about your instrument to the more astute, musically-inclined listener. Others may wonder how you hurt your hand! My Yami YTR6340ST finish is worn through in most places my hand has held her. She still plays and sounds great and I love her. Just not as good-looking as she once was. Come to think of it, neither am I.

What is your second language if you don't mind me asking... Deutsch?

How does the horn play now that it harbours no more mammals?

No, it's French (spoken, written not so much, for the moment my English is still better). I do understand ein bisschen Deutsch, but it's ... residual, wouldn't even put it on a CV :) I'm not Luxembourgish, only live here, hometown is Lissabon.

The flugel plays very well (for the price). The tone is really deep, makes me want to fill it with air and pretend I'm playing something bigger, like a baritone.
