    Hello to everyone,

I just discovered the site and enjoy the comments and help given here. I have been playing off and on for the last 40+ years and enjoy learning more. I do have a questions. I own a Olds Recording trumpet that my parents purchased new for me in 1968. Serial number is 638xxx. It still plays great and sound more mellow than my Bach Strad. I used the Olds all through jr high and high school in marching and symphonic band so it has a few dings and the finish is rough. The valve move smoothly and all the slides are working great.

Thanks for your comments and recommendations.
