    I just joined the website and am hoping to learn alot.
    i use a King SilverFlair (highly under-rated) with a 3C megatone or Schilke mouthpiece

    You are right about the SF being underrated, but that is changing now that folks like you are touting them!

    Welcome !!! When I bought my first "pro" model trumpet I went into Sam Ash and the kid behind the counter was really proud of this Silver Flair he was selling ... I played 2 notes and gave it back to him ... then I tried out 15 Bach Strads and bought a 43 light ... I didn't even know they had numbers on the bell.
    I won't hold the SF against you :) I mean it was only 2 notes
