Mr. Hickman has put together some great stuff. In addition to the excerpt books, I'm happy to see that he has brought some of the classic cornet solos (Willow Echoes, Slavische Fantasie) back into print.

I second the above. There are several fine pieces available nowhere else. And the Clarke autobiography is a fun read as well; that comes out in July. And we have long needed better excerpt books that the old ones that had too many errors. I will be getting some of these soon.

I've just ordered the majority of the catalogue (no joke!) and will soon be happy to report on both the music and the sotto voce mute.
This has been a bad week for my bank manager - an Eclipse flugel and most of Dave Hickman's publishing house!!

Looking forward to receiving my summer work :D

    JC,

Great job on the books. Still working through them.
Any reason for binding them in such a way? Cost? I think it would have been better to have them spiral bound... maybe not.

You are right, much better than the Universal editions.

Best of luck in the sales...

Thanks for the comment. Still working on 4 more books with all the copyrighted music: Copland, Hindemith, Shostakovich and more....lot of fun.

regarding the binding, I believe cost has a lot to do but you should ask directly Prof. Hickman on TH. He makes the final choices.

You could always take a trip over to Trumpet Herald and ask him - he is a regular contributor over there and moderates the Rafael Mendez forum.
