I have recently bought a trumpet at a rumage sale for pretty cheap and was wondering how to identify it. It has KADIT stamped into the bell and the serial # on the side is 172057. I think it might be a king but not sure. Can anyone give me some ideas?

    thanks

    Definitely NOT a King trumpet.

    Probably an Asian trumpet.

I have never heard of that brand.

"I still have the Kadit student trumpet
that my Dad bought at Montgomery Ward's (spelling?) when I was about 8 years old (circa 1973)."
    ...
"I think Kadits may have been sold by both Montgomery Ward and Sears. They were ok horns best suited for beginners"
    ...
"I actually have seen one of these in my career in instrument repair, and it was a stencil horn made by Blessing. It was the exact same horn as the Blessing student model of the late 1990's. Maybe the earlier Kadits were from different factories, but this one was for sure a Blessing."
