Well, I'm sorry to keep bugging folks with my wierd stuff, but as long as it hasn't been a burden to anyone...

I have another new tune. this is really kinda wierd (yeah, like my other stuff is mainstream!), but I hope some of you can find something worth listening to here.

The tune is called "A call To Giving." It features a lot of strange electronic rhythm section stuff, trumpet, flugelhorn, bass trumpet and piccolo trumpet. I even committed the sacrilege of blowing a scream jazz /rock solo on piccolo!

The places to go hear it are...

It's all free, of course, for now.

    Enjoy.

    Peace.

    Nick -

This tune really rocks! Excellent composition, recording, and execution all around. Don't tell me you are a fellow Acid composer? I love composing with Acid.

Too bad we aren't closer to one another, cause I think you would have fun in my studio.

    Keep the music flowing!

Yes! haha, I like this Nick. Some very impressive lines in there. Is that a piccolo trumpet on the high stuff? such clear articulation in that range and not completely screaming either. hmm, wish i could record range in my apartment. when i recorded the orchestral bit on my tune sub-destruct I was sure the neighbors would kill me.

I like the quotes a lot. I have an old tune in which I read a bit of edgar allen poe. very strange tune it became. haha! 'i thrust a torch into the remaining apeture and let fall within, there came forth in return only a jingling of the bells, my heart grew sick, it was the darkness of the catacombs that made it so......something like that.....ha! very strange, thats why i write all my own lyrics now.......

keep posting this stuff nick, i love it. i hope to have a new one up soon as well. hope u will give it a listen.

    take care.

Really good stuff Nick! I'm not sure why, but the trumpet lines reminded me a little bit of some Bill Chase stuff.

Anyway, I really enjoyed the clips! Keep posting.

Do you have anything available on CD for purchase? I think the guys in my big band would get a kick out of this stuff.

My music is available for purchase at....

Thanks for the kind words, ChasStar!

As to the availability of my music...

I sell it on a per tune/download basis on Ampcast.com. The Acid Planet tunes and the Mp3unsigned.com tunes are all available for free.

I don't have a set of CD's made up at this point. I feel folks should be able to pick the tunes of mine they like and skip over those that they don't like and only pay for what they want.

    Here are the urls...

    http://www.mp3unsigned.com/NickDrozdoff.ASP

Acid Planet doesn't have an express url set up. Just go to acidplanet.com and do a search on Nick Drozdoff. I have tunes in Windows media file format there.

    Thanks for your support.
