HI TO ALL OF YOU. IN TH I HEAR THAT BACH RETURNS TO THEIR SMALL LETTER STMAPERING IN THEIR TRUMPET MOUTHPIECES. OTHER COMMENT WAS THAT THEY ARE MAKING IT IN A CNC MACHINE, USING THE MEASURES OF THE SELECTED BACH SET THAT VINCENT HIMSELF CHECKED AND APROVED. DOES ANY OF YOU HAVE SEEN THIS NEWER MOUTHPIECES ? ARE SOME DIFERENT FROM OLDER SMALL LETTERS STAMPERING. ANY INFO WILL BE VERY APRECIATED. I WISH TO BUY AN 1 1/4 C
THANKS AND THE PEACE OF GOD BE WITH ALL OF YOU

Hi Felix, I currently play a 'small letter' Bach 1 1/4C, which I bought around 6 months ago. I've never played an old Bach 1 1/4C. but I can say that it works fine for me. I also have a couple of 7Cs which have bigger lettering; and quite honestly, the quality and design seems to be exactly the same.

Older stamped (small) lettering indicates it was handmade. Small or large letters (laser engraved) are lathed on the same machines. Large letters were simply not cosmetically pleasing, so they changed it.
