I stumbled across this video of Bria Skonberg. Nice song with some classic plunger work. And some pretty nice vocals about 5 minutes in.

There's some hidden humor, too. At about one minute into the song, she empties her spit valve. She then gives a look to the camera man, as if to say "sorry about spoiling the video, man". :-)

    Pretty cool.

I'm currently working on my plunger to get the growl. But for pure plunger, none better than Muggsy:

I don't know why I missed that clip when it was first posted - I think I was travelling OS away from regular TM access that month - but it's fabulous, thanks for posting!

And I wonder what does the '43 bring that, say, the '37 wouldn't in this case? (I have a '43G and wouldn't mind some insight.)

My original reply was meant to be tongue-in-cheek, because I also play a Bach 43. But I don't think there is any advantage of the 43 over the 37.

Thanks - I spent a long time A-B-ing between a 37 and a 43 before thinking the 43 had it by a hair for me, and in the years since wondered what I'd pick another time. Seeing your post I thought ah, here's somebody who might be able to validate my choice! :)

    Kind regards,
