    Hi all,

Posting this on behalf of my mentors/colleagues/friends Roy & Arto.

    Cheers,
    Joel

If you want to learn how to apply James Stamp's approach in your daily playing, check out the website of the Oberlin Trumpet Workshop, where you will find detailed information about the annual summer camp, being held from July 1st - July 11th 2012.

Here you will be taught by two former Stamp students, Roy Poper (Oberlin Conservatory) and Arto Hoornweg (Rotterdam Philharmonic/ Utrecht Conservatory). Also, Ken Larson (Brasswerks-Larson trumpets) will give a masterclass about trumpet designing and acoustics. Application Deadline is April 30th. The workshop has on staff preeminent collaborative artist James Howsmon who accompanies the two recitals that conclude the ten day workshop. This workshop is designed for high school and college students as well as teachers and serious amateurs.
