Went by Southeastern today and they showed me this Conn 5A bell (and leadpipe) that someone had them copper plate in the course of an overhaul. Here is a secret spy shot of the results... I suppose imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so who's project is this? :D

Yes, it will be nice. They said it was sent to them to do "like Dale Proctor's", with the addition of a copper-plated leadpipe, too. It should be a looker! Here is the one Southeastern did for me a few years ago...

I wonder why they had the leadpipe plated, since your customized 5A doesn't have a copper-plated leadpipe...

It's nice, unless they try to flip it as a 9A.

The leadpipe isn't shaped right for a 9A, but I suppose someone could mistake it for one.
