This is an Olds Ambassador from the 1940's. It is in great playing shape and good overall shape considering it's age. It is a wonderful sounding and playing horn. The third valve slide needs some work to get it moving as smoothly as most would like. My original plan for this horn was to send it to Charlie Melk to put a first valve trigger on it and work the third valve slide so it moved perfectly. But I've wound up with too many horns already and decided to sell this one. Although the Ambassador was advertised as a student horn, this horn could stand up to any pro model. The pre-fullerton models, like this one, were supposed to be the best constructed horns. I have a lot of pics I took of this horn that I will be happy to send. Contact [email protected] if interested. Asking - $165 for this horn. Free shipping if in the CONUS. Thanks and all the best, Lex
