Well said. I recall one feature of mine which I considered to be unusual at the time, which was that the beginning of the leadpipe had a very small diameter that opened up quickly, and that the leadpipe itself was quite short. I'll leave the significance of this to be explained by those more knowledgeable in trumpet design than I am to explain (hint, hint!). I thought it odd that such a relatively large bore trumpet would have such a small aperture at its beginning. Enlightenment on this subject will be greatly appreciated.
