G-d bless them, each and every one, abroad and stateside.

There can never be enough thanks from this proud civilian for the military that stand guard over us, night and day.

G-d bless them, each and every one.

Thank you, Rich, for that sobering bit of inspiration.

Glad you liked it. What really struck me was the music (there's a surprise). I've seen tons of the "kick ass and take names" vids showing firefights and such, that are usually accompanied with fast metal soundtracks. This however is a beautiful tribute. The helmet on the rifle really hit home.

FWIW, I did have to laugh at the donkey getting "filled up with 89 octane" ;-)

I first hear "Mansions of the Lord" on Hugh Hewit's show and it was as stirring watching that video as it was the first time, perhaps more so.

    Great post!

We have much to be proud of that our troops do to make this place a better world.

I was on a trip to Columbus, GA this week when the 3rd returned from Iraq. All those young guys and gals . . . grateful to be home . . . and all of us grateful for their sacrifice . . .

They are ordinary people, doing an incredibly important mission . . . and doing it with dedication and steadfastness.

Thanks again for posting this stirring video. I'm glad you are posting here now too! Welcome!!!
