    Hi Again

I have been working on a book of Operatic vocal solos for trumpet and piano for a while and I have finally finished! The works included are:

    Il regardait mon bouquet
from Le Roi et le Fermier
    Composer: Pierre Alexandre Monsigny

    Lenski's Aria
    from Eugene Onegin
    Composer: Peter Ilyitch Tchaikovsky

    Nessun Dorma
    from Turandot
    Composer: Giacomo Puccini

    La donna e mobile
    from Rigoletto
    Composer: Giuseppe Verdi

    Jenik's Aria
    from The Bartered Bride
    Composer: Bedrich Smetana

    Mein Herr Marquis
    from Die Fledermaus
    Composer: Johann Strauss

These have turned out better then I had hoped. Lenski’s Aria by Tchaikovsky is awesome! I can’t wait to perform it! Here is the trumpet part and the first 2 pages of the piano part:

    Andrew,
Thanks for Lenski's Aria. Was that a free teaser for your book or can you make Nessun Dorma and La donna e mobile available in the same way? Good luck on the book...............crow

Thanks, should be a great book for this type of music. Lenski's looks playable by the average player (me!) Keep us advised as to the final publishing details! Dave

Thanks! I've been enjoying playing all of these solos in my own daily practicing.
