Pedal notes and embochadure

    ( first post ) :-) Hi folks , i study Maggios, Stamp methods and Maggio says " dont changes embochadure " the same in the all range . Stamp dont say nothing about change or not change embochadure...

    I can play double C and armonics ups but change a little my mouth its ok or not ? i see the Charlie Porter video ( pedal notes ) and he change ... i dont know ...

    The only time to change the embouchure is when you mouth falls off your face.

    PS: Sorryier... my English sucks big time... By the way welcome to MT (and dyslexic too)

    Pd: i have Olds ambbasador too ( not the best year ) '73 but im very happy with she.

    I find pedal tones work some of the same muscles we use in the upper register in a very low-impact way. The mouth may change on the outside, but not the setting of the mouthpiece on the lips.

    The shape is the same but i change the tension of the lips . is that correct ? Thx for reply .
